For the last couple of weeks the news has been buzzing about accusations tying Michael Vick to illegal dog fighting. Claims have been made that the Atlanta Falcons quarterback is a heavyweight in the "sport" betting anywhere from $30,000-$40,000. On April 25 police raided the house owned by Vick for a drug investigation, there they found 66 dogs and possible dog fighting equipment. The quarterback claims that he was letting his cousin live there, and was unaware that a kennel on the property could involve some kind of criminal activity.
Recently reports have been released from an informants that say they can link Vick to dog fighting. Informants have turned valuable information over to Virginia State authorities. The informants turned information revealing the street names of the dog fighters in Virginia and also proof of Vick being at a fight.
